A rumpled feather on the ground, the space inside an apple, the pattern of my skin; these unassuming subjects have a quiet beauty that captures my attention and inspires my work. It is through the process of art-making that I acknowledge fragile, subtle, and intimate moments of existence, and my work invites the viewer to accompany me in venerating each one. As each of these moments has particular qualities, I approach each inquiry with a specific process driven by the materiality of the source, thus I do not limit myself to a particular medium.
